TERMITE/WDI INSPECTIONS
Texas Dept. of Agriculture
Each year, billions of dollars in damage is done by these hard-to-find pests. In many cases, termites and other wood-destroying insects go undetected and can cause expensive damage before being found. Whether you are buying or selling a home, having a thorough termite inspection can give you peace of mind. A real estate pre-settlement or pre-listing termite inspection can give peace of mind to the homeowner or potential buyer.
Our inspectors collectively have over 20 years of experience investigating and identifying wood-destroying insects in thousands of homes. We carefully inspect the exterior, interior, and underside of the home. We probe our way to hard-to-reach places looking for signs of past or present activity. Our team of inspectors are also licensed TDA Inspectors trained and experienced to recognize signs of damage and infestation and issue a report. Not only can we find wood destroying insects, we treat them.

Are Termites Your Only Enemy? NO!
Termites are the most well-known wood-destroying insect, but they are not the only insect we look for. While we look for termites, there are numerous other insects that destroy wood as well as organisms:
-
Subterranean Termites
-
Dry Wood Termites
-
Termite Swarmers
-
Carpenter Ants
-
Acrobat Ants
-
Carpenter Bees
-
Wood Boring Beetles
-
Powder Post Beetles
-
Wet Rot
-
Dry Rot
-
Fungus
-
Conducive conditions favorable for infestation.
While these don't seem to be a pertinent problem at the time of purchase or sell, the damages made by these other wood destroyers can require costly repairs in to the thousands of dollars. When observed, signs of these pests are detailed in your report so any needed action may be taken.
